Haakdoorn Nursery takes to heart the importance of offering our clients the best service & products possible. We have years of experience in offering top quality, healthy plants at great value. We cater to both the retail and wholesale market, and our friendly team is always willing to lend a helping hand or share knowledge. Our in-house motto is; High quality, low pricing, great service, satisfied customers! We feel taking those four principles into account is the key to operating a successful business and maintaining good business relationships.
Our nursery is situated in the North of Pretoria, very close to the well known ARC-Onderstepoort Veterinary Institute, and we are easily accessible via the major highway systems in and around Pretoria. Much of our stock is produced by us on the nursery grounds, but we also pride ourselves in working with some of the most reputable names in the industry to source the highest quality plants to supplement our stock.
Our Nursery grounds can be deemed a birder's paradise, and we have counted well in excess of a 160 bird species to date, including a whole bunch of Kingfisher species, Bee Eaters, Marsh Owls, Green Pigeons, Paradise Fly Catchers, Whydahs, Little Sparrow Hawks, various Herons, and the majestic Fish Eagles, whom grace us with their beautiful calls daily. We are also regularly entertained by various species of mongoose, mischievous monkeys, lesser bush babies, genets and many more!
We have something to suite everyone's taste, and our wide selection of plants and tranquil grounds makes it well worth visiting the nursery if you are looking for something new for the garden this season!
